at their best... love this one
Anyone else hear Tempus Fugit around the 7 minute mark?
Underrated song and album
❤ Chris ❤
This is, without hyperbole, one of the best pop songs ever made in my opinion. Everything about it is almost a magic in how perfect it is.
Turns a basic pentatonic solo into something more original
This is a brilliant example of how they developed songs. They didn't write it out, just talked about what sounds they wanted.
Plastic.
Lo importante que le guste alos fans, los criticos siempre Anda buscando defecto aunque no existan
This is without doubt the messiest thing Yes ever recorded. Compare this to how tight Drama was.
0:55 the note that he lets ring, you can hear the notes making a wawawawawa sound, is that just the natural tone of a Rickenbacker, or is he using an effect on top of it?
This solo is a masterpiece.
Yes is so underrated
That groove!!!!
80's come for the outfits, stay for the hair
wow this film and song take me way back
😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What a song! What a voice!! What a band!! Excellent.
Rabin I'm sorry I thought it was ramos
I loved it when geddy played bass at hall of fame
That guy Ramos is bad ass wow is he good and he can sing to. What a great guy!!!!! I like rick to best key board player. Ever. Bar none. Loved the bass player to Rip buddy I have listened to yes all my life I'm 68. I like John to
Shows the Genius that was classic YES !!
There are some things about this version that I like even more than the final version. They made more of that killer riff snd Rick's keys sounded fuller and warmer. They hadn't added that psuedo-chorus yet; "Where we are coming from or where we go..." But I didn't miss it too much, (maybe a little, Lol). Fun to catch glimpses of them interacting and stopping and starting like that, with the leadership passing from Chris to Steve to Jon almost seamlessly. I can tell that there must have been times when tbe tension became unbearable between these guys because every one of them could take over at any point and lead the way. It must have been a real balancing act!
Ahhh the 80's. rhythm guitars dripping with chorus and solos stung by harmonizers
This is such a fantastic video and the best circulating copy in existence!! Do you still have the original file that this upload was taken from? If it was higher than the 240p shown here, then UA-cam would no doubt be able to take a way less compressed copy nowadays!
Wow just today a student of mine was sure the solo is a keyboard solo 😂
for historical context you young guys must know that those kind of haircuts were considered " stylish " and badass in those days
Amazing!
Time is time , if you haven’t heard it.
Fucken wow man. Some of the fintest.
This in incredible!!!!!!!!!
A speedy thing at the end....this guy knows hi stuff...;-)
❤❤❤❤This man is a musical genius! I’ve said that since the 80’s! Love him!!!!!!!
DId you get that?
Wonder what harmonizer he's stomping
Chris seems so stressed out in this but this track has some of his best work
The best one from the greatest band
One of the elements that took Yes into the 80s. Drama was a precursor. 90125 LP still their biggest seller
The solo is out of this world but the interviewer's hairdo is what's driving me insane 😂
and how do you get THAT haircut?
I never liked the faster part of the song that much , but the long intro is insane ... no band could play this , before them or since . Rock on , guys !
I've always been intrigued by that Fender Strat of his. Does anybody here have any knowledge of this guitar? What year is it, etc? Did Trevor do the paint job on the body as well? Thanks in advance.
can that be done using BOSS PS-6 HARMONIZER ?
Between Fragile and Tormato, and I'd even include Drama, they were the greatest band ever.
That was so friggin cool
Trevor gave Yes the kick in the pants it needed to survive in the 80s.
What was Chris angry about when he stopped playing?
One of their best records too. The critics of course hated it.
Yes was truly remarkable even if you didn’t like their music. However tread lightly. They did a lot of work that even they can’t stand.

What a delight and privilege to see this definitive line up of YES, perfecting a truly magnificent and in my opinion great studio rehearsal, of all that was enchanting and wonderful, about this era, in their musical history and progressive rock, to boot!
